Start Quote Gina and I both started salsa because we were interested in dance and wanted to do something new, as you can see we became well and truely hooked! Around three years ago we started teaching salsa in Madisons.

We are a good partnership we each have different strengths Gina is an advocate of ladies styling and adds lots of styling points in all our moves. As for me well I'm into rhythm and I cover all the mens moves each week. We have a very informal style of teaching we feel that dance above all is to be enjoyed, so we try to have fun as well as delivering technique, style and turn patterns.

Gina and I have been to many workshops hosted by people such as Susanna Monterra, Solomon Rivera, Yolanda andTerry these have introduced us to a wide variety of styles and moves and help to refine our technique in both dance and teaching.

We also were members of an all female salsa dance group 'Chica Salsa' and performed at numerous charity functions and salsa events. Attending classes and workshops through the years it has become obvious to me that, although 'the dance is the thing' everything else surrounding salsa is important too, the music, the fun and best of all the friendships which develop.
